My background consists of private tutoring and teaching. I taught every other week at a university and covered a French class. I had to plan the upcoming lessons, taught grammar, vocabulary, and the French way of life. At the same time, I also tutored French 221 to a handful of student athletes. I helped with their lessons, homework questions, and also preparing them for future tests. I volunteered my time tutoring English as a Second Language to immigrants as well. Over this last year, I was an assistant to the English Language department, and I helped small groups of people talk about and also create lessons for English pupils in high school and middle school. I tutored privately a French individual who was wanting to become more fluent in the English language. I am very passionate about French language and really love to tutor others who need further guidance on their speaking and writing skills. Depending on how the student learns and retains information, I tailor each lesson with each individual student so they will get more out of each session. I find it highly rewarding when I see a student make a connection, and are able to gain more confidence because of this. I do understand learning a foreign language isn't always easy, so therefore I am patient and flexible when taking different approaches for a student to see what the best fit is for them.
