Michael P.
Private tutor in Binghamton, NY
Education
Senior Psychology Major at SUNY Binghamton
Experience
I was the salutatorian in high school, and was part of the National Honor Society. I've had some prior experience tutoring, but more so counseling friends and family. I'm smart, quick-thinking, creative, reliable, respectable, and patient. I aced my high school economics final, and am pretty good at spanish, with a little brushing up, and have taken all high school math except Calc which I never cared for. I'd like to be a tutor because I'd like to make some cash during college and know I have the patience and aptitude for the job.

Hobbies
I love music. I was in my high schools band and chorus. I played trumpet but don't anymore however I would be able to teach someone the basics, I received the John Philip Sousa Band Award. Since my junior year of high school I've been teaching myself how to play piano and am now able to sing and play at the same time. When it comes to piano I have never been taught how to read both clefs at once, but I can slowly, but I mainly play by ear. As for singing, I'm pretty much self taught but know the basics used to keep my family up at night singing in bed and in the shower. Music is basically my sanctuary and where I go when I need a boost. I love space and all of the mystery within it and also love philosophy and psychology, and all of the unanswered questions of the world. I have a passion against religion so if you are religious, I would recommend not picking me. I could care less for sports talk but I like playing baseball, tennis, and ping pong. Oh, and I absolutely love animals, namely cats and dogs of course. I also love and am good with kids, and plan on working with them in the future.
